The 3 hours excursion with one stop includes Ohrid Old Town, Presidential residence of Tito, on the way you will see the Cave Church of Saint Stefan and the biggest village on the Ohrid Lake, Peshtani (also nicknamed as small Paris). We make a 30-45 mins stop at the Museum on water ‘Bay of bones’. It is a replica of an ancient settlement built on wooden foundations just above the lake surface. Its remaining’s were found under water in the late 1990’s, and in the early 2000’s a project was funded by our Government for building an actual replica only built out of wood and mud, as authentic as possible for it’s period (about 6000 years old, 4000 years b.c.). Inside the Museum you will see a lot of objects (tools, home accessories, ceramics, etc) that were found within the foundations of the place under water. It is still being explored by local and foreign archaeological and science expeditions. Regular departure and drop-off points are the Ohrid central port or if your accommodation is on the shore within the route we can pick you up and/or drop you off on the
shore in front of your accommodation.
